The winners of the 2015 edition of the Website of the Year award – India’s most important people's choice award for websites - are revealed on websiteoftheyear.co.in.
This year, 252 websites were nominated in 21 categories. More than 185,000 votes were cast between the 19th October and the 27th November.
Flipkart is chosen as ‘Website of the Year India 2015’ in India because of its content, navigation, design and recommendation intention. In each category there are two prizes to win: the title 'Best Website of the Year' is provided to the website with the highest average score on content, navigation, design and recommendation intention. The title 'Most Popular Website' is provided to the website with the highest number of votes.
The Website of the Year India election is the online public award of the year which singles out the best and most popular websites in 21 categories. The award is independent and objective and is organized by MetrixLab, a global provider of consumer insights and marketing analytics.
